I've started doing freelance SEO - hire me!

I'm now offering SEO services like keyword research and blog writing on top of my social media ghostwriting. I've been using SEO for six years to bring traffic to my online businesses. I've learned lots about SEO in that time and a lot of my email list and ghostwriting revenue comes directly from being good at it.

I still get lots of website traffic from articles I wrote years ago. SEO is awesome. I often take skills like this for granted. Doesn't everyone know how to do SEO? Eh, nope. Of course they don't, Pete! But I do.

Yesterday, I showed some founders in the coworking space I go to the Ahrefs dashboard. Ahrefs is an SEO software which lets you see where other websites are getting traffic from, how many people search for keywords and so on. It can be quite complex to beginners but it's incredibly powerful!

These founders were amazed to see that I could look up one of their rivals and come up with keywords for them to target on their website. It was at this point that I realised I should be helping companies with SEO in addition to my social media services. I took a look at a few local businesses in Edinburgh and lots of them have huge opportunities for SEO that they aren't taking advantage of at the moment so I've started pitching them by email.
