Day 11 of collecting rejections - Meet Your Heroes recap

In September I am going for a rejection each day in order to get out of my comfort zone.

I did my first ever video interview on Monday with my Meet Your Heroes series talking to founders. I have obviously done about one hundred text interviews for No CS Degree but I had never done a video interview in front of an audience before.

I told myself that I would just try my best and hope it goes well. And it did! It was great talking to Anne-Laure about optimism bias, how people can build successful communities and lots more! While I was listening to her answers I was also queuing up the next question. I had people join the call in Zoom so people were messaging me in the chat. It was a lot to deal with but I was able to get everything running smoothly.

You can watch it back here. It was really good to be out of my comfort zone and I am looking forward to next week's chat with Ben Tossell who is making $50k a month with Makerpad just now. My next move was to ask people to give the product on Gumroad a rating. Some people have done it already and that's awesome! They gave it 5 stars :)
